Arrowkert is a new species that was created by the bonding of an Arrowcellious and a Magikert. It is not clear how this occurred, but the origination of the species is clear. Arrowkert are a friendly species according to observation. They have a defensive side, but this is only if they are bullied. They are very smart, much like Magikerts, but are also strong, like Arrowcellious. Arrowkert can be found in civilized areas and in warm reigns. They are unlikely to be found in cold areas, even if the area's settled. Arrowkert usually have crystal components, but where these are varies for each individual. Sometimes the skin is crystal, other times it could be the bones. Reproduction is an interesting factor of an Arrowkert, not only because a hug with an opposite gender for more than 5 minutes will begin the cycle, but because Arrowkert females will lay eggs. Researchers suspect that an earlier generation species on the Magikert side may have created influence on this, but it is not clear. Arrowkert females lay eggs on a monthly basis. When they do, there is a tiny chance (1 in 1000) that the egg they lay will hatch into a child. This species is new and the oldest known individual of this species is still healthy, making the lifespan unclear.

Arrowkerts have been found to have a high evolution rate, something seen with very few species. This has been observed with their reproductive system in particular. The ability to increase their capacity to higher amounts was a start. Further evolution allowed for them to mark others by harnessing their energies. Evolution also took them to create eggs at a faster rate, capping at one per second if hugging long enough. This also took itself further later on, allowing multiple eggs to form depending on how many one was hugging. Arrowkert are likely to become a lot more common with this change. This will also make them one of the quickest to become a successful species.

Appearance

Arrowkert usually have crystal components, but the location of the crystals varies for each individual. Sometimes portions of the skin are crystal whereas other times it could be bones. Crystal colouration is usually similar to that of Arrowcellious, but purples and pinks have also been observed. Arrowkert are not as tall as Arrowcellious, but are on average a bit taller than the average Human. They have higher average weight, though not as much as Arrowcellious, even if they may look light. In most cases Arrowkerts wear clothing, unless their skin is entirely crystal. Clothing worn varies quite a bit and seems to be more tied to personal preference. Hair seems to be the best physical identifier for gender.

Behaviour

Arrowkert are highly social ... most of the time. There is the occasional exception. Arrowkert share a sense of community much like both of their parent species. The stronger of the community are often designated as the protecters. Independant Arrowkert tend to have varying social affinity, but are often considerably strong. Arrowkert who are parents can be fiercly protective of their offspring. Some female Arrowkert are extremely oriented towards reproduction (guess who). This may cause rationality to be a little iffy if in such a scenario, but they are very loving of their children.

Climate

Arrowkert can be found in civilized area within warm regions. So far they have been observed on Cody's planet, Cella and rarely on Arrowcellium. It seems the ones on Arrowcellium tend to move to another planet due to the civilized areas being relatively small on Arrowcellium. Arrowkert have a high temperature tolerance, so they can thrive even in dessert cities. Those with crystal skin have an even higher temperature tolerance, though they often stick to similar ranges as those without. Independant Arrowkert are more likely to be found in high temperature areas, even near volcanic structures. It is unlikely they will settle in volcanic areas that have evidence of being in lavaflow paths, but hot springs are highly likely and desirable with Arrowkert, especially crystal skin ones. It is rare to see an Arrowkert in arctic areas (but civil establishments are also rare, so makes sense).

Reproduction

Reproduction is interesting for Arrowkert. They can start their reproductive cycle by hugging the opposite gender for five minutes. This is not the only interesting factor, as Arrowkert also lay eggs, which neither of their parent species does. Researchers suspect a species further down their line of evolution may have somehow passed this down to the species. Arrowkert females will lay eggs monthly regardless of activating their cycle. These eggs are uninitilized most of the time. There is a 1 in 1000 chance that the egg may hatch into a child, these eggs are known as prefertilized eggs. Unfertilized eggs, if incubated properly, will still hatch into some sort of item. This is the biggest mystery of the Arrowkert because no one has much of an idea how Arrowkert can spawn items within their reproductive system, especially the rarer of the items. Mineral based items are the only one that may make sense. Their reproductive system evolves easily too it seems. Some Arrowkerts can produce eggs at a faster rate with extended hugs with the opposite gender. Crysta is an example of a more extreme case of quick evolution.
