A Soul Fairy is a physical manifestation of part of one's soul. They are usually brought into existence as a result of one's vessel dealing with immense power. Soul Fairies have a variety of appearances, as they are elementally tied. The element of a Soul Fairy depends on their Soul Master. A Soul Master is the individual who brought the Soul Fairy into existence. In a way, a parent of the Soul Fairy is the Soul Master. The known elements of a Soul Fairy appear to be the same variation as the amount of elements that potential masters come in. This means that there are a lot of different appearances. Overall, Soul Fairies don't get really large, peaking out at what would be considered average for a Human in terms of height. In terms of gender they will have clear features that determine of they're a male or female (hair is a major deciding factor). Males will sometimes have a business tie, females wear dresses (most of the time). Soul Fairies that are shadow element are somewhat more difficult to sort out, but the hair length will still give away gender. Soul Fairies personalities are curious, as they are a manifestation of a soul, they could have very different personalities compared to the Soul Master. Soul Fairies often emulate the inner feelings of their master. Some people compare a Soul Fairy to personas due to how their personalities operate. Soul Fairies thrive in temperatures their Soul Masters thrive in, but as for range, they prefer to stick close to their master, since their powers are strongest when close. Soul Fairies communicate in the same language as their masters, but can also speak in languages that their masters are capable of, but don't practice. Soul Fairies are not capable of reproducing, as they are a manifestation of the soul, not the body. However, research suggests that certain circumstances may allow for reproduction, if it is in line with two Soul Masters.


Appearance

Build

Often slim with cute curves. Males are charming and usually have muscles, unless their Soul Master is weaker than their average type in which charming will be the only reflection. All Soul Fairies (except Neutral) are very light, despite their build. Some other build differences driven by their Soul Master's stats have been observed, but these are too variable to pinpoint.

Neutral elemental fairies are quite special, as they can change their build at will, with no upper limit to what they can change their form to. There is a minimum build they must have. Note that the power of the fairy's Soul Master will limit how much mass they can have with their build.

Colour

Colour is one of the most varying properties for a Soul Fairy, as this is often mirrored with the element that the fairy is oriented with. However, in uncommon circumstances, a Soul Fairy may adopt the colour of their Soul Master's aura. Their skin is usually a much lighter shade of the colour of their element or aura whereas their clothing will be a more intense version. Certain conditions in relation to the Soul Master will cause a Soul Fairy to have a charming darker shade for skin.

Neutral elemental fairies have the ability to change colour. Their default skin colour is light grey with a slight transparency.

Clothing

Clothing usually reflects element and is an intense version compared to the skin. Clothing type varies and is often tied to the personality of the Soul Master. It is also somewhat common for a Soul Fairy to dress in a way that reflects the inner personality of the Soul Master. A Soul Fairy for a modest quiet guy could dress in swim trunks and be quite expressive, if that is within the inner personality of the Soul Master. Uncommonly, a Soul Fairy may have more than one primary colour in what they wear. The most common secondary colour on a Soul Fairy's clothing is the aura of the Soul Master.

Neutral elemental fairies can change the colour of their clothing at will, but prefer to use the aura colour of their Soul Master.

Evolution

Soul Fairies are a branch off from Souls. Souls are typically in a spirit form and cannot be physically touched. Soul Fairies are solid and can be touched. The first Soul Fairy to be born was the result of the Soul Master becoming extremely powerful, as the vessel could not handle the amount of power, it gave the excess energy to a strange crystal-like patch that was growing on the Soul Master. The energy became concentrated enough, the soul then created a branch off. The crystal-like patch, having a soul now, took formation of a fairy. As this soul is a portion of the Soul Master, the fairy adopted traits from the master. There appears to be little change compared to this first Soul Fairy so far.

Elemental Soul Fairies have a high evolutionary amplitude, since their adaptation is much higher than other elements, however, no permanent changes have been noted yet.


Personality

Attitude

Soul Fairies attitude is often in line with their Soul Master. However, it can also be in line with the Soul Master's inner personality. Most of the time the attitude of a Soul Fairy is something a Soul Master can get along with, but for some who hides their inner personality, it can be troublesome to have a Soul Fairy act with the attitude of an inner personality.

Reasoning

Soul Fairies do have decent reasoning, usually with when to emulate their Soul Master's inner or exterior personalities. However those emulating more mischievous personalities, inner or exterior, tend to have less reasoning. Soul Fairies with the mind element tend to have a slightly higher reasoning than the rest of the fairies. Neutral fairies have a somewhat higher amount of reasoning when paired with a compatible personality, however mischievous personalities will override this effect more often than not.

Social

Soul Fairies are super social with their Soul Master, with the exception of the quiet and reserved types, where they only talk when it is necessary (or when lonely). Soul Fairies social skills with others depends on their Soul Master's personality and is often more in line with their Soul Master. This includes inner social skills as well, meaning if the Soul Master doesn't want to deal with someone internally, the Soul Fairy may not want to deal with the same person entirely.

Language

Soul Fairies are able to speak any language their Soul Master knows. In addition to this, Soul Fairies may also be able to speak languages that a Soul Master has good potential for or languages that they know, but do not speak. Interestingly enough, this also applies to languages that may not be official, but crafted by a Soul Master.

Intelligence

A Soul Fairy's intelligence often matches that of their Soul Master, although in appearance it would seem they know more than their Soul Master. This is due to the Soul Fairy reflecting both the expressed knowledge and the internally knowledgeable content. If a Soul Fairy knows something that a Soul Master may not mention, that likely means that it was a thought that existed within the Soul Master. Soul Fairies are a good reflection of what true intellect is in possession of a Soul Master.

Habitat

Range

Soul Fairies prefer to be close to their Soul Master, since their power is strongest nearby. Some Soul Fairies that belong to adventurers or loners may venture farther and their power would not wane as much compared to other personalities.

Climate

Soul Fairy climate preference is nearly always in line with their Soul Master, although they can technically survive conditions way beyond their Soul Master, if they lose their Soul Master's vessel, they will be returned to the soul that created them.

Adaptability

Soul Fairies adapt to a similar degree of their Soul Master. There is not much more adaptation beyond this.

Neutral elements have additional adaptation skills that allow them to change size, mass and shape (to an extent). They could fit into a pocket, or they could fit their master into their pocket. This adaptation only goes as far as their Soul Master's power allows them.

Exploration

Adventuring personalities from a Soul Master are usually what lead to adventurous Soul Fairies. Even with this, Soul Fairies don't typically explore unless their Soul Master is doing the same, since they prefer to be close to their Soul Master.

Reproduction

Courting

While there's no known reproductive methods for a Soul Fairy, flirty personalities (typically from a Soul Master) and the love-oriented personalities may flirt and/or court with others. When a Soul Fairy courts someone, it's often an indication that the Soul Master has similar desires. This is a reflection of either external or internal personalities. In a way, this behaviour could be used in match making.

Initiation

Soul Fairies have no known way of reproducing. However, a sign that a Soul Master may soon create a Soul Fairy is a crystal-like patch. This patch is often located where no other can visually spot it, since the crystal-like patch can be damaged in it's early stages. This crystal-like patch is often called a Soul Nest.

Research does suggest that there's potential for reproduction if two Soul Master's undergo a reproductive function, but there has been no cases two Soul Master's have tried for children, so this is unknown at the time.

Pregnacy/Eggs

There are no known cases of Soul Fairies bearing children. However, a Soul Master's soul will start creating a Soul Fairy of intense energy exchange continues when a fully formed Soul Nest exists. A sure sign that a Soul Fairy is being created is when the Soul Nest glows. The brighter it is, the closer the creation is to being complete. When the glowing is at it's brightest, the glowing will escape the Soul Nest and that energy will manifest into a Soul Fairy.

Nurture

A Soul Fairy is often born will all of their abilities. However, nurturing will be required of their Soul Master has not learnt all of their essential abilities. This rarely occurs, as children rarely bear a Soul Fairy. There are only three known cases where this has occurred.

Training

As with nurturing, a Soul Fairy has all of their abilities from the start, unless their Soul Master's abilities are not fully formed yet. This is somewhat rare, as children rarely bear a Soul Fairy and most adults have learnt their primary skill sets.
