Slurus

Slurus are a species that evolved from Minslurus. Their skin is tougher and their strength is greater. Slurus are often gifted with a great sense of leadership. This often guides them into a position of leadership. They are widely respected as leaders mainly because of how wise they are. They often trust Minslurus with many things. Slurus will often protect their interests as much as their offspring. A common interest among this species tends to be dragons. This may have been because of Gynoss, who's one of the oldest Slurus around. His interest was dragons and this seemed to pass onto many other Slurus though Gynoss had no children. Slurus are found on many places on Mineslur, but can also be found in remote areas of Cella. You may not find them in dense forest compared to other terrain though. Any planet that's not Mineslur or Cella is a place you will not likely encounter a Slurus. Warm moist areas tend to be popular for this species, mostly on Mineslur, but noticed on Cella. Reproduction is nearly identical to Minslurus. If a mey and demey sleep together, there is potential for an energy bond to form. 1 to 2 days later, either gender will lay 1 to 3 eggs, which hatch in about 2 weeks. Usually the DNA instructs which gender is meant to lay eggs before hand and naturally a pair that's attracted will have at least one capable gender. During the time of egg nurturing, the mey will defend the demey and the eggs at all costs.

Slurus have tougher skin compared to Minslurus. They are also most commonly a navy blue in terms of colour. The colour of masks those who wear them are often orange or red, but a few in leadership position will wear yellow or gold masks.

Slurus often develop good leadership skills above all the rest of them. They are also very protective of their interests and are known to defend them as fiercly as their offspring. A common interest is dragons, which may be tied to Gynoss's influance. Gynoss is one of the oldest Slurus around and others of his species took interest in dragons as he does.

Slurus are found on many places on Mineslur, but are also found in remote areas of Cella, much like Minslurus. They are not found in dense forests compared to other terrain. It is unlikely you'll encounter a Slurus outside of Mineslur and Cella.

Similar to Minslurus, of a mey and demey sleep together, there is potential for an energy bond to form. Egg generation also takes 1 to 2 days, after which either gender will lay 1 to 3 eggs, which is different from Minslurus. These eggs will hatch in about 2 weeks. DNA often instructs which gender is meant to lay eggs. In most scenarios compatible gender pairings at least one gender will be able to carry eggs. During incubation, the mey will defend the eggs at all costs. Slurus will be nurtured for five months after hatching. They will undergo training from six months up to 12 or 13 years. At the age of 25 they will mature.
